When you first start CloudPad there will be no notes in your personal notes database so you will be taken to the Create New Note screen as shown below. You will not be able to select any other view until you create a note.

Create New Note mode.
Every note has a title, the notes text, a list of comma separated tags and a priority level. The follow shows the form populated and ready to save.

Form fully populated and ready to save.
Once you save your note you the navigation buttons will become enabled. Select the Tag Cloud view, either by View->Tag Cloud menu or via the toolbar. This will take you to the tag view. As you can see the tags you assigned to your new note are visible in the view.

Tag Cloud mode with Tag 1 and Tag 2 visible.
The Tag Cloud is constructed from the tags present in your notes. As you add, edit and delete notes the Tag Cloud will change to reflect your changes.
If you click on a tag you will be taken to one of two views depending on the number of notes that reference the selected tag. If the tag is referenced by two or more notes you will be shown a list of the notes that reference the tag. You will be taken to the note directly if only one note references the tag.
The following shows how a list of notes are displayed. Each entry in the list displays the title of a note along with the tags that are assigned to the note. You can select a note title to view that note while selecting a tag has the same effect as selecting a tag from the Tag Cloud view.

List of Notes that reference Tag 2
The following shows how a note is displayed. It carries a header that is structured in the same way as found in the list above along with the text of the note.

Selecting a tag in this view works in the same way as selecting a tag in any other view. Selecting the notes title allows you to edit the note in a form that is similar to the Create New Note view you have already encountered as shown below.

Edit Note mode.
You now know all the basics about using CloudPad… Enjoy, I hope you find it as helpful as I do!
