If you tend to move files between a number of PCs its worth taking a look at DropBox.
DropBox is similar to most of the other remote storage offerings out there. While it gives far less free storage than the competition, just 2Gb, it’s synchronisation trumps them all.
A directory is created on every machine you connect to your drop box and they are all kept in synch in the background. Add, update or delete a file or directory on one machine and they are all updated shortly after. It even has client software for Windows, Mac and Linux so truly cross platform.
If 2Gb is too small you need to look elsewhere but everything else just feels a bit clunky afterwards.
